ZambaLando is a musical project that embodies a rich fusion of Latin American and Afro-Peruvian rhythms, combined with influences from European cultures. The name itself is a tribute to two distinct yet complementary rhythms: Zamba from Argentina and Lando, an Afro-Peruvian rhythm from the coastal regions of Peru.
The project was born out of a deep curiosity-how would different musical traditions blend together? Drawing from personal experiences of living in various countries across Latin America and Europe, ZambaLando explores the intersection of diverse musical styles, creating a unique and vibrant sound.
At its core, ZambaLando weaves together Salsa, Merengue, Bossa Nova, Festejo, Lando, and Funk, all enriched with a touch of jazz.
